Many people on the other side of the country have been making fun of the east coasters for all the hubub from yesterday's 5.8 earthquake in Virginia that was felt along most of the eastern seaboard up into Toronto. Having grown up in the Pacific Ring of Fire where my strongest earthquake was a 7 on the richter scale, I'll admit that when it happened even I was momentarily flustered. My last earthquake was in Seattle while I was in college and that was some years ago. Geez maybe having lived in DC for the last five years has made me soft.
But here is a shoe that may inspire running away with the masses in hysteria :)
Sam Edelman 'Bina' ballet flat. Available for $120 at Bloomingdales.
