Atterbury Flat

I stopped by Aldo on the way home yesterday and was sorely tempted to purchase the Atterbury flats because they were on sale for about $30. At the last second I opted not too because they were slightly tight and figured would probably hurt a bit to break in. I've been drawn to lighter shades the past month or so that I'm attributing to the weather.

If I weren't feeling so lazy to break these in, I'm sure they'd be pretty comfortable for an all day walking kind of shoe.

My new obsessions though are gel insoles. I tested one from Dr. Scholls in a pair of gladiator sandals and they really make a difference. My heels have been angry with me for all of the unsupported walking I've been doing in them, but it's just so hot to wear close toed shoes these days. So these insoles are amazing. I want to use them in every pair now!

Posts have been slow as of late but life doesn't seem to be getting any less busier at the moment. I guess thats both good and bad! I've been involved in multiple projects and am balancing work + grad school at the same time as well so it's been a mad hectic schedule.

Also, I keep dreaming about owning a pair of Repetto flats. I keep seeing them on different blogs, should I take that as an omen? haha!

PS: it's sweltering in dc...I can't believe I actually miss the cold.
