Edda at YDU

I stumbled upon jewelry designer Edda at the Young Designers United online site. YDU is based out of Amsterdam and features collections of young and upcoming fashion designers at a more affordable price.

Edda caught my attention because of the beautiful chiffon rose necklace.

The designer is an art director by trade but started her foray into jewelry when she started making some for herself. She enjoys mixing materials so gem stones can be found with wood, glass, plastic, metal, etc.

YDU has a slew of other amazing designers as well. I like Mangelware who does some great knits and J C Hoerl who does beautiful ruffle and pleat work. 

It's too bad YDU doesn't have an online store yet. Mmmm if I could only visit Amsterdam now...
